Noted: How This Pro Photographer Recovered $9k Worth of Stolen Gear
Interesting read on Gizmodo on how a photographer recovered cameras and lenses worth $9000 using the excellent service http://www.gadgettrak.com/camerasearch/
Makes me think. I haven’t written any of the serialnumbers of my cameras/lenses down. Might be a good idea, even though it’s stored in the EXIF of the images taken with the gear.
Note to self: Do it!
Professional photographer John Heller got $9,000 worth of gear stolen in Los Angeles. Here’s how he got it all back.
